In contrast to this, this paper examines current research in second language acquisition to identify five key components instrumental in constructing a successful language course: input, output, focus on form, fluency, and motivation. It illustrates the importance of each in the EFL classroom, giving concrete examples not only of their implementation but the ways in which these diverse strands act together to promote student competency. Finally, the paper concludes with a pedagogical demonstration of how the components can be effectively integrated into language classrooms.
