離離たり 原上の草/一歳一枯栄 一歳に 一たび枯栄す/野火焼不尽 野火 焼けども尽きず/春風吹又生 春風 吹きて又た生ず/遠芳侵古道 遠芳 古道を侵し/晴翠接荒城 晴翠 荒城に接す/又送王孫去 又た 王孫を送りて去り/萋萋満別情 萋萋たるに 別情満つ を見せた。五代、王定保の『唐言』巻七には以下の逸話を載せる。白楽天初めて挙げられるるや、名未だ振るはず、歌詩を以て顧況に謁す。況之に謔れて曰く「長安は百物貴し、居るに大いに易からざらん」と。読みて「原上の草を賦し得たり、友人を送る」詩に至るに及び、曰く「野火焼けども尽きず、春風吹きて又た生ず」と。況之を歎じて曰く、「句の此の如きあらば、天下に居るも甚の難きこと有らんや。老夫の前言は之に戯れしのみ」と。これが出世作となり、以後、楽天の名声は一挙に高まったという。彼の早熟の才を示す有名な逸話である。ところが、この詩が平安文学には利用された形跡は未見である。今回、「草根集」の序を読んでいて、当該詩の利用が有ることに気づいた。「草根集」の序は一条兼良の手になる。それには、東山の正徹の庵が全焼し、蔵書・草稿が灰燼に帰したことを踏まえて、心に根ざせる思ひの種を、ややもすれば言の葉にあらはれて、切れども失せず焼けども尽きせず。秋の霜を置いては枯れはつるやうなれど、春の風に吹かれては又もえいづるに似たるゆゑに、草根となづけられける とある。一読、前掲白詩に拠ることは明らかであろう。「野焼きの火が焼き払っても尽きることなく、春風が吹くとまた新芽が生ずる。」一度は焼けてもまた生える野草のたくましさと正徹の家集を再編集する不屈の精神が重ねられている。それゆえ、「草根集」の命名も白詩に基づく。これらのことを中心に「草根集」と白詩の関係について私見を述べたい。","subitem_description_type":"Abstract"}]},"item_10002_publisher_24":{"attribute_name":"出版者(英)","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_publisher":"Otemae
