 note = {21世紀に入って、日本政府は超少子高齢社会に対応するための労働力の確保と、経済成長のための外国人観光客の増加をグローバル戦略として行っている。その結果として、日本の外国人労働者数や外国人旅行者数は急激に増加し、日本社会は多様な人々が暮らすグローバル社会になっている。しかし、多様な文化が共存している社会が急激に形成されたため、日本人とは異なる社会的、歴史的、文化的背景を有する人々への医療サービスはまだ不十分である。また、日本人は外国語を使用することが不得意であり、外国人が異国である日本で暮らすときに感じる葛藤、文化の相違や社会システムを十分に理解していない。その結果として、多くの外国人患者は大きなストレスを感じている。これらの課題を解決するためには、看護教育において外国人のこうした状況を理解できるグルーバル人材としての看護職を育成することが重要である。このような看護師が医療職と外国人患者との円滑なコミュニケーションを促すことによって、外国人患者が適切な医療を受けることができると考える。
本稿では、日本におけるグローバル社会の様相とそこに内在する健康課題を検討する。また、看護系大学におけるグローバル人材育成に向けた国際看護教育の現状を概観し、今後求められる国際看護教育の展望について考察する。, In the 21st century, the Japanese government’s global strategy is to secure a labor force to cope with a very low birthrate and aging society, and to increase foreign tourists for economic growth. As a result, the number of foreign workers and travelers in Japan has increased dramatically, so Japanese society has become a global society with a diverse population. However, because of the rapid formation of a society in which diverse cultures coexist, medical services for people with social, historical, and cultural backgrounds different from those of the Japanese are still inadequate. In addition, Japanese are not proficient in the use of foreign languages and do not fully understand the struggles that foreigners feel when living in a foreign country, and the culture and social systems of foreigners, resulting that many foreign patients experience great stress at medical institutions. To solve these problems, it is important to foster nurses as global human resources who can understand these situations of foreigners in nursing education. By facilitating smooth communication between medical professionals and foreign patients by these nurses, we believe that foreign patients will receive appropriate medical care.
This paper provides an overview of global society in Japan and the health issues inherent in it. In addition, the status of international nursing education at nursing colleges for the development of global human resources will be reviewed, and the prospects of global nursing education required will be discussed.},
