The Eye-4C-D method aims to enhance major components associated with intercultural competency such as: curiosity, empathy, perspective shifting, tolerance of ambiguity, active listening, mindfulness, and general communicative skills (Berardo & Deardorff, 2012; Fantini, 2009; Lynch, 2004; Matsumoto & Juang, 2013; Ting-Toomey & Chung, 2012). Some of the features of this method are the ease of use, adaptability to various contexts and themes, and variety of challenges it offers learners.
