The centre has tried various educational practices since its foundation which are widely implemented such as the way to support students' self-learning, management of the centre, making guidelines for tutors, cooperation between the centre and existing subjects, and so on. I shall summarize those efforts in order to assess how the centre should act in the future. This is a report that shows the chronological establishment and transformation of the Learning Support Centre at Otemae University, especially in relation to the First-Year Experience which has a strong association with the centre's duties.},
